Topic Summary:  Dr. Reinglas will share a new rapid referral pathway to help manage IBD patients in the community having difficulty getting subspecialized care and review a case-based perspective on the management of patients with IBD.

• Identify treatment goals for IBD and apply a treat to target approach to optimize care based on disease activity and patient outcomes.

• Apply strategies to support shared decision-making and effectively counsel IBD patients on the benefit–risk profile of advanced therapies to optimize treatment decisions.
