Lake of the Woods Distally Hospital is a full service teaching hospital serving Northwestern Ontario.
Clinical resources include: 4-bed ICU; 3 modern ORs; CT; MRI on site; advanced breast cancer imaging technology; advanced laparoscopic and breast surgery equipment including MOLLI and ICG . The general surgeons provide full scope of general surgery procedures and are not required to provide C-section ( provided by GP-obstetricians)
Community profile: Kenora is located 2 hours west from Winnipeg and is the largest Healthcare Center in Northwestern Ontario outside of Thunder Bay. Excellent outdoor lifestyle on the beautiful Lake of the Woods.
