This is a structured one year University of Toronto MIS Fellowship position at Unity Health Toronto. The fellow would train in advanced MIS operations with a focus on bariatrics but also upper GI, hernias, colorectal and other general surgical cases. There is a high volume of clinical material and this is a great opportunity to hone operative skills and help in the transition to practice. There would be an opportunity to participate in a research project should the candidate wish. There are educational opportunities to assist in the training of medical students and residents. The fellow will participate in call under the supervision of the MIS staff. Remuneration is through OHIP and as such, only Canadian and US candidates should apply.
Remuneration: OHIP fee for service
